Yesterday, so the thought is still in my mind, I wrote The Prisoner article and, some related ideas occured to me relating to this idea of christianity and how it can and does produce a phenomenon like The Prisoner and now, having explained that sufficiently well enough for you to grasp my idea I would like to point out to you that this is most likely to be the reason why The Vampire story arrived on the scene because it looks to me like it is the same thing more or less exactly.
Alright, not exactly exactly but close enough. I mean okay, it's not Rover and the Body of Christ this time, with the vampire, or like The Prisoner, The Vampire, but the whole idea of Drinking The Blood Of Christ and Eating the Body of Christ but more particularly it is the whole Drinking The Blood bit that does it for me.
I was graphically reminded of this just now on paying a visit to an anti christian web site. I don't have a problem with anti christians, how could I as I am one myself wholeheartedly, the more the merrier in my view and the more the better too, but it just shows how the mind goes into overload and when one loses a frame of reference for the truth - because something, some system, christianity in this case - the rearrangement of one's mental furniture sometimes takes on a bizzarre twist.
I won't give the link to it but there are similar themed anti christian web sites and I am all for them, bizzarre as you like or mundane but it is a shame when someone has a golden nugget of truth to share but then wraps it in a blood soaked cloth and the web site (seach on anti christian and christianity is evil and you'll probably find it) in question quite definitely associates christian ideas with extremely graphic vampire like, not just like but IS vampire graphics in the background of the site. These images are truly horrific which is one reason I don't want to give a link to it. But for thinking, well balanced adults it is important to understand how these things work.
For me, I don't need to see a web site that makes an unexplained but clear link between christianity and the whole vampire thing in order for me to realize that there is a real cause and effect between, on the one hand christianity as the cause and on the other hand as the whole vampire phenomenon as a direct result or effect.
Without this explanation how would you explain The Vampire story? With my explanation you can discern for yourself that when I say that the imagination runs riot due to the tricks that christianity performs then you will see that I am not understating the case and maybe you will also realize that this is something both very serious and very important. An intelligent society should always be eager to learn about such cause and effect and take appropriate action otherwise it is not really an intelligent society but just a carricature of one that it thinks it ought to be. Why not be it, rather than carricature it?
