Who Are The R. Souls?

I have several responses to this question. In one version I see myself standing in front of a classroom of children teaching them perhaps one of the most important ideas in life, namely that we do not have souls but that we are souls.

Then I would get them to join in with me, a bit like children do when they recite the times-tables and I am sure that you know the kind of way that this is done, the crowd or class in this case, joins in with the words like part of the chorus, "The christians are wrong, we do not HAVE souls, we ARE souls". And then I say again, "The christians are wrong, we do not HAVE souls, we..." and the whole class just shouts loudly and in unison the last two words. I make a hasty exit and leave the children to explain their behaviour to the teachers none of whom would have been present to witness the buildup and dodging the TV crews and reporters as they head for the school to investigate... (end of scene one)

The christians have gone around the world and they have destroyed existing cultures and spiritual ideals and religious practices and inflicted their malignant mindset upon the people in those countries and cultures. They could have chosen to listen and learn but they chose instead to overpower and destroy and inflict.

This for instance has happened throughout Europe and via Europe to the USA. The USA began life as the USA as a christian country because the people who stole it from the people who already lived their prior to their arrival, had that christian mindset. The great land known as the USA and the great land known as Europe were cultures and peoples with a fascinating history and range of ideas which the christians could have learned from but they think that they know better. In those days they just thought they knew better and today they just think they know better, so what's changed? The fact is they don't know Jack S*** (I'd be interested in reading his blog by the way). And now back to the story...

So, anyway, I would like, in one imaginary scene of the rest of my life playing out in a daydream fantasy, to spend it travelling from school to school and just do that. "Who was that masked man who taught our children to say 'R. Souls' to the christians?" Well folks, it was me! I did it. On my gravestone I would like engraved: "The man who dared to say the christians are a bunch or R. Souls". In nice caligraphic letters.

So now you know that I believe (very strongly and sincerely - at least as strongly and sincerely as christians believe that their god is in charge of heaven) that we don't HAVE souls but that we ARE souls.

I dare say there will come a time if the christians haven't stolen that idea already and claimed it as theirs that they will do so, and, simultaneously and without explanation, drop the idea of HAVING a soul. I'd put money on it.

That's one scene.

But that doesn't answer my self-asked question "Who are the R. Souls" so let me move on to scene two.

Scene two is in heaven and the person in charge, as it happens it is Juses's* turn but he is off sick so it's Jesus who running the tour today and so Jesus is showing around a newly arrived soul having just departed the earth life, and is explaining how he has partitioned off heaven into separate regions, on God's personal instructions, in case you were wondering, each with it's own set of believers.

Each section has a pretty little boundary with nice flowers and a white painted picket fence surrounding it and a little letter, 'A' or 'B' for example, to denote that particular group that lives there. Jesus is explaining that he has, on the instructions of God Himself, obviously, segregated the souls into these different groups and as they are strolling by they reach a very high concrete wall with barbed wire and broken glass shards all along the top and every so often a big notice saying "Danger. Keep back. Do not approach this area. signed: God"

They continue walking along, a little bit off the ground as is normal in heaven, along the outside of the wall as it is a long walk and this is one of the very largest sectioned off areas. They finally reach a huge entrance with an angel at both sides, each with a sub machine gun and pointing and facing inwards. Over the entrance is a huge sign, the single letter 'R'.

"This is where the christians are kept." Jesus explains, "We refer to them as the R. souls". He adds sadly, "They think they are the only people up here of course." "They are the most retarded of the souls that we have living here and so we keep them in the 'R' enclosure."

"And that boys and girls, is how the first R. Souls were so named and the moral of this tale is never to become a christian or you will end up just being called an R. soul by everyone else".

(Break for applause, tea, coffee and light refreshments)

That's a terrible, back-of-the-envelope, unworked version of scene two and it badly needs improving dramatically but it gives you the gist of the idea and that's good enough for the purpose in hand for now at least.

Finally, I personally think of the 'R' as short for Retarded as in Retarded Souls because that is exactly what christians make themselves, emphasis: they make themselves retarded or R. Souls.

I will put this in terms a christian might need it put: God gave you a mind to think not to just blindly and glibly and thoughtlessly throw your weight around (metaphorically). If he didn't want you to use it, your mind, then he would have given you less. If you want to lose it then just carry on not using it.

There will be a lot of people reading this who think that I go too far, that christians are nice people, that they do nice things, that they believe only good things, that they spend their lives just doing, thinking, being, spreading just good and goodness and every tiny little thing is the essence of goodness. Well, you have got it TOTALLY wrong. Thats not how it is. You get good people everywhere. Oscar Schindler was a good person. But Oscar Schindler didn't have a lot of options but belong to the Nazi system. Good people don't have to stay in the christian system - well, okay, there are a lot of cases where that is not actually true and such good people do have to stay inside the christian system but even so they don't have to be a part of it in their private thinking, in their own minds and that is where it counts.

This article, in any case, is not the place for me to expound on why I think it is a moral duty to write about christians and christianity in the disrespectful way that I do but I will point out that it IS a moral obligation for any right-minded person to speak up and speak out against any and all kinds of malignant system so that is what I target, what I am doing with my offensive and disrespectful anti christian articles and I am doing that because it is necessary and it is a moral obligation for me to do so.

* Sometimes, just sometimes it is easier and possibly more interesting or amusing to keep on typing rather than backspace and re-type the word properly.
