* * * Bax It! is now available. * * *

Bax It! is a backup program I have been using for nearly two years, just about on a weekly or more often basis.

I wrote it for personal use but now it's available for download.

There's no charge and no catch.

It will work on any Windows computer (except 3.x and I have not tested it on Vista yet but it should be fine).

All you need in addition is to have an extra hard drive as a backup store for everything that's on your main hard drive and enough empty, free, space on it to hold that amount of data.

These days the cost of an extra hard drive is not worth quibbling over when it comes to a question of having a backup or no backup. The real question is do you value your data that much?

Here's where you go to get it then it's two or three more clicks with nothing annoying in between:

Bax It! just a few clicks away

(12th May) When I write I aim for it to be important and towards being timeless in value. That's one reason why you won't very likely read the names of some president or prime minister herein. That's not to say I ignore topical issues entirely but I only deal with them when I am convinced of their ongoing importance.

I wrote about the Minot incident for the second time because of the very probable and terrible outcome as one example of a current issue that may turn out to be something that sets the scene for the next century and all depending on how much we ignore it or otherwise.

Normally I don't link to other sites, however, if the Minot incident interests you then you may like to spend some time reading this Project Camelot (''Jack Carter'')

This year marks the 40th aniversary of a major discovery that was personal to me and I have written an article to share that with you.

Thanks for visiting.
